How to Stop Landroid from Leaving the Mowing Area

Keeping Your Landroid Mower Within Boundaries

Ensure your Landroid mower stays in its designated area with these practical solutions.

Using Boundary Markers

Magnetic strips, included in the scope of delivery, are the primary boundary markers for your Landroid mower. To ensure accurate navigation:

  • Install the magnetic strips along the boundary, securing them consistently and in alignment.

If magnetic strips are unavailable or unsuitable for your setup, you can use alternative materials, such as:

  • Wooden planks

  • Plastic edging

  • Metal stakes

  • Garden fencing

  • Stone or brick edging

Properly position and secure these markers to maintain clear boundaries for efficient operation.

For installation guidance, watch this video:

Adjusting Settings

  • Access the Landroid app to modify these settings:

    • Disable the "Cut Over the Border" option near edges.

    • Set the border distance to 15 cm (6 inches) to ensure the mower stays within its boundaries.

Maintaining Sensors and Camera

  • Clean the sensors and camera regularly to remove dirt and debris that may obstruct performance.

  • Verify that all components are properly aligned and unobstructed to maintain precise navigation.

By installing appropriate boundary markers, adjusting settings, and maintaining sensors, your Landroid mower will operate efficiently and remain within its designated area.
