Power and Charging Troubleshooting Guide

Overview

This guide addresses Landroid issues related to power, charging, error. Follow the consolidated steps to diagnose and resolve problems effectively.

1. Power and Charging Issues

This section covers problems such as the battery not charging, the Landroid not receiving power, and issues with the charging station's LED indicator.

Steps to Diagnose and Resolve:

  1. Check the Power Supply and Connections:

    • Ensure the power supply is securely connected to the charging base and a functioning power outlet.

    • Test the outlet by plugging in another device to confirm it delivers power.

    • Inspect the connection cable between the power supply and the charging station for damage or loose connections.

2. Inspect the Charging Station and Contacts:

  • Verify that the Landroid is properly docked on the charging station, with contact pins aligning correctly with the charging contacts.

  • Check for signs of damage, dirt, or debris on the charging contacts and clean them if necessary.

  • Examine the charging station for any defects or loose components.

3. Address a Completely Discharged Battery:

  • If the battery is fully discharged, perform an emergency charge by manually docking the Landroid onto the charging station.

  • The emergency charge should start automatically.

  • After charging is complete, switch on the Landroid to resume normal operation.

4. Observe the LED Indicator:

  • Check the LED light on the charger or base. If it's off or flickering, it may indicate a power issue.

  • If the LED remains off after checking connections, the charging base or power supply may need servicing.

2. Additional Checks and Support

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, further assistance may be required.

Extract a Log File for Support:

  • Turn on the mower and enter the PIN.

  • Insert a USB drive (FAT32, 2–8 GB recommended) into the USB port.

  • Wait for a beep or a "USB" message, then remove the drive.

  • Connect the drive to your computer and locate the file LOG_xxxx.htm.

Contact Support:

  • Share the log file and a detailed description of the issue with customer support for further assistance.
