The "Lock" function blocks your Landroid if it’s stolen, making it unusable until it’s recovered and unlocked.
Watch the Video Tutorial:
Enabling the Lock Function: Enable it via the app in the main menu.
How It Works: Once enabled, if Landroid loses Wi-Fi connection for 72 hours, it will lock itself and stop functioning.
Accidental Locking: If your Landroid locks due to a power outage or router issue, restore the Wi-Fi connection to unlock it.
Check Wi-Fi: Ensure the network is online, place the robot within range, and confirm connection.
Wait for Reconnection: After 10-15 minutes, the robot should unlock and resume its schedule. If this doesn’t work, proceed to manual unlock.
Manual Unlock:
Log in to Worx Landroid Account.
Scroll to the bottom to see three options.
Click “Download” in the 'Unlock' box.
Download the "reqProvisioningUsb.json" file (do not rename it).
Copy this file to an empty USB stick formatted with FAT32.
Power on Landroid, insert the USB stick, and it will read the file and unlock.
After reboot, Landroid will be unlocked and reset to the default PIN.
Network Changes: If changing routers or providers, keep the same SSID and password to maintain the connection. If that’s not possible, disable the "Lock" function. Locked devices unable to connect to a new network require a support ticket.
Winter Preparation: Disable the "Lock" function before winter storage. If the robot cannot connect to Wi-Fi during storage and you later change the network SSID/password, you may not be able to unlock it in spring.
Before Repair: Disable the "Lock" function before sending Landroid for repair to avoid issues.
Understanding the Lock function helps you secure your Landroid while knowing how to manage and unlock it if needed.
