Charging Station Setup for Your Landroid

The charging station is essential for your Landroid, serving as both a recharging point and a parking spot between mowing sessions.

1. General Installation Requirements

Consider these key points when positioning the charging base:

• Proximity to Power: Keep within 10m of an AC outlet; ensure the adapter and socket are in a dry area.

• Shaded Location: Place the base in a shaded area to avoid overheating.

• Straight Paths: Ensure a straight approach path for Landroid and, if necessary, a straight exit path (depending on the model).

• No Sprinklers Nearby: Keep the area free from irrigation systems.

• Flat Surface: The base must be on flat ground for proper docking.

Proper positioning ensures the mower’s contact pins align perfectly with the charging base pins for the best connection.

The charging station can be placed on your lawn or a hard surface, provided they are at the same height (no steps).

2. Specific Installation Requirements

• Front Clearance: Allow for an 80 cm straight path in front of the charging base.

• Exit Path:

  • Left Turn: Provide at least 30 cm of straight path before the turn (fig. 1).

• Right Turn: No straight path is needed (fig. 2).

3. Securing the Charging Station

• Ground Fixing: Use the supplied screws and Allen key to secure the base to the ground.

For placement on a hard surface, use appropriate plug and screw fixings (not supplied).
