Managing Landroid's Border Cutting Feature

Border management on robotic mowers has traditionally been challenging. However, Landroid addresses this in two ways, depending on the model.

1. How It Works

• Scheduled Border Mowing: Landroid is pre-programmed to mow along the lawn perimeter twice a week, typically on Monday and Friday, or Tuesday and Friday, based on the cutting schedule.

• Operation Sequence: Border cutting occurs before the scheduled mowing session. If the battery is low, Landroid will return to the charging base, then resume mowing once charged.

• Important Note: If your lawn has islands, the Cut-to-Edge feature will not mow their borders.

2. Which Models Support Cut-to-Edge?

• Supported Models: The Cut-to-Edge feature is available on models WR140, WR140E, WR141E, WR142E, WR143E, WR147E, WR147E.1, WR148E, WR149E, WR150, WR150E, WR153E, WR155E, WR165, WR165E and WR167E. These models feature an off-centered blade turning disc for a close cut along borders, reducing manual trimming.

• Safety Design: These models have a protective cover to prevent objects from contacting the blades, reducing injury risk.

• Other Models: Models without an off-centered blade disc use a standard blade disc, still reducing the need for manual border trimming.

3. Changing the Settings

Each model can adjust the Cut-to-Edge settings via the app or, depending on the model, through the control panel.

Using the App (All Models)

1. Access the app menu.

2. Navigate to “Schedule” and then to “Manual Schedule.”

3. Enable/Disable Border Cut: Choose the day and toggle “border cut” on or off.

Applicable Models: WR140, WR140E, WR142E, WR143E, WR150, WR150E, WR153E, WR155, WR155E

1. Enter the Menu: Use the D key to access the menu, navigate to the "clock icon," and press OK.

2. Customize Work Time: Use the ↑ and ↓ keys to select "Customize work time" and confirm with OK.

3. Select Day: Press OK to select the day and use the D key to find "Border cut."

4. Enable/Disable Border Cut: Select YES or NO with OK, toggle options with the C key, and confirm with OK.

Landroid M, L LCD Display with Knob

Applicable Models: WR147, WR147E.1, WR148E, WR149E, WR165, WR165E, WR167E

1. Enter the Menu: Rotate the knob, select the "clock icon," and confirm by pressing the knob.

2. Customize Work Time: Rotate to "Customize work time" and confirm.

3. Select Day: Rotate to the desired day and confirm.

4. Enable/Disable Border Cut: Rotate to "Border cut," choose YES or NO, and confirm.

Landroid S, M, L LED Display

Applicable Models: WR130E, WR139E, WR141E, WR147E, WR184E

This model type adjusts border cutting only through the app.
